This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy. One thing up front: we keep you signed in with browser storage, not cookies — so there are fewer cookies here than most apps.

1. What cookies are In short Small files a site stores in your browser. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, which we use for login and your theme.

2. Strictly necessary In short Needed to run the site securely and remember your sign-in and theme. These don't need consent.
  • Sign-in (local storage, not a cookie): we keep your authentication tokens in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. This is essential to the service.
  • Theme (local storage): remembers your light/dark preference.
  • Security (Cloudflare): our provider may set cookies to protect against attacks and route traffic. These are essential and do not require consent.
3. Analytics (consent-based) In short Our self-hosted PostHog sets cookies/storage to understand usage and record masked sessions. In the EU these run only with your consent, and you can withdraw it.

To understand how FOMA is used and to record masked sessions (see the Privacy Policy), our self-hosted PostHog sets identifiers in cookies or local storage. These are not strictly necessary, so in the EU/EEA we use them only with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time. This data stays on our own servers and is not shared with advertisers.

4. Payment In short When you pay, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the transaction and prevent fraud.

When you subscribe to Pro, our payment processor Stripe sets cookies necessary to process the payment and prevent fraud. These are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

5. Managing your choices In short Change this site's analytics consent with Cookie settings above, use the app's own control for app analytics, and manage cookies in your browser settings.

You can also block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings — note that clearing sign-in storage will log you out.
