Terms of Use
The agreement between you and {{LEGAL_ENTITY}} for using FOMA.
These Terms are a contract between you and {{LEGAL_ENTITY}} ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using FOMA you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.
1. What FOMA does In short FOMA notifies you about events matching filters you set. Event data comes from third parties, so we can't guarantee it's always accurate or on time.
FOMA lets you save filters across event types and sends you a notification when a matching event approaches. Event information comes from third-party sources and public data, which can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. FOMA is a convenience tool — do not rely on it as the sole source for time-critical decisions.
2. Eligibility In short You need to be at least 16 and able to enter a contract.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding contract to use FOMA.
3. Your account In short Keep your login safe and give accurate details; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use In short Don't break the law, abuse the service, scrape it, or try to disrupt or reverse-engineer it.
You agree not to:
- use FOMA for anything unlawful or infringing;
- disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
- scrape, resell, or systematically extract data from the service except as expressly allowed;
- reverse-engineer or circumvent security or usage limits.
5. Plans and billing In short Free gives you 3 alerts and 5 notifications a month. Pro is €2/month via Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel.
FOMA offers a Free plan (3 saved alerts and 5 notifications per month) and a Pro plan at €2 per month. Pro is billed through Stripe and renews automatically each period until you cancel. Prices include applicable taxes where required; we may change prices with notice, effective at your next renewal.
6. Cancellation and your right to withdraw In short Cancel anytime in the app; access lasts to the end of the paid period. EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right, which you can ask us to start immediately.
You can cancel Pro at any time from your account; it stays active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew again. As an EU consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for the Pro subscription. If you ask us to start the service immediately and then withdraw, you agree to pay for the portion used up to that point. To withdraw, email [email protected].
7. Third-party content In short Event details, titles, and images belong to their owners and are shown "as is" for information.
FOMA displays event details, titles, artwork, and other information sourced from third parties and rights holders, used to describe events for your information. This content belongs to its respective owners and is provided "as is". See our Trademark and Copyright & DMCA policies.
8. Intellectual property In short We own FOMA and its brand; you keep ownership of the filters and content you create.
The FOMA application, design, and brand are owned by {{LEGAL_ENTITY}} and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the service. You keep ownership of the filters and information you create, and grant us the licence needed to operate the service for you.
9. Disclaimers In short FOMA is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that notifications are complete, accurate, or delivered on time.
To the extent permitted by law, FOMA is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that event data and notifications will be accurate, complete, or timely. This does not exclude any warranty that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.
10. Limitation of liability In short We're not liable for indirect losses or for missing/late notifications, to the extent the law allows. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from a notification that was missed, delayed, or inaccurate. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under applicable law — including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
11. Suspension and termination In short You can leave anytime. We can suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
You may stop using FOMA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service unlawfully, giving notice where reasonable and proportionate.
12. Changes to these Terms In short We'll post updates here and, for material changes, notify you before they take effect.
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version with a new date, and for material changes we will notify you in advance. Continuing to use FOMA after changes take effect means you accept them.
13. Governing law and disputes In short The law of {{GOVERNING_LAW_COUNTRY}} applies, without removing your local consumer protections. EU users can also use the online dispute-resolution platform.
These Terms are governed by the law of {{GOVERNING_LAW_COUNTRY}}, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live. If we can't resolve a dispute directly, EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
